Maureen Hall has a most unique and varied background in the fascinating world of animals. Having excelled in the equestrian arts many years ago as a rider and trainer of western, english and dressage horses, she went on formally to study the how and why of animal behavior. Her horses, dogs, macaw parrots, goats and performing chickens are seen in major motion pictures, television shows and commercials. She has performed with her trained animals in over 5,000 live shows. Every performance emphasized the intelligence of the animal and allowed it to perform only those abilities it truly enjoyed. Listed in "Who%u2019s Who in America" for her insight into the intelligence of all species, the horse remains the love of her life. As often as possible, Maureen and her Andalusian stallion take to the road, putting on exhibitions to demonstrate her ultimate partnership of mutual respect, love and complete trust as they perform stage tricks, movie tricks and classical dressage without the aid of bridle or saddle. "Extraordinary People" the number one rated television show in Australia, honored Maureen by documenting her animal communication ability and her no-force horse training method. She has been a featured guest on numerous radio and television shows, including giving a demonstration on the KTLA Morning News, Hidden Mysteries of the Mind and the Marilu Henner Show. On other shows she has exhibited Cinder, a Black Labrador Retriever. Maureen and Cinder%u2019s Owner, a severe diabetic, have taught Cinder to awaken her owner whenever her blood sugar is too low or high. Other accomplishments include becoming a certified zoo manager and then working as such for three years in order to better understand the needs and emotions of all species. Treating all animals with respect and compassion is a number one priority of Maureen%u2019s and nearly a dozen magazines have published her articles. A Los Angeles native, Maureen conducts an Animal Behavior Consultation service in the northeast corner of Los Angeles County. In a peaceful, tree-shaded setting with numerous contented, resident animals wandering about, classes are held to help people better understand their pets. A concerned pet owner may arrange for a private consultation to have a pet evaluated, a training program set up, or receive advice on nutrition and natural healing. Those out of the area may arrange for a telephone consultation. E-mail: animalcoaching@aol.com |
